Antique rotary knife sharpener About 1880. This unit was appraised on the Antique Road Show.  Was probably bolted down to a general store counter, storekeeper charged the customer to polish/sharpen their knives. There are no markings on the iron nor the wood. The unit is complete, including some pumice material down in the bottom. Someone has put a clear coating on the metal parts.
